I picked up the book ‘The Rock Warriors Way’ and it changed my life. All these concepts I was learning about in the abstract were being applied to climbing and my life in a way I didn’t think was possible. I knew psychology was important for climbing but I hadn’t fully understood that it was possible to train the mind alongside the body. My career as a mental training coach began with me picking up this book and so I owe a lot to Arno Ilgner @rockwarriorsway In this episode of the podcast we geek out on all things mental training (in no particular order). Arno was an amazing climber of his time and is still crushing it today, largely due to his strength of mind.
