Growing up in Iran in the 1950s, photographer Firooz Zahedi was no stranger to political and social unrest, but he found solace in the effervescent glow of Hollywood films.
“They were in glorious color and had happy endings. I wanted to be where those people on the big screen were, wherever that was,” said Zahedi. “Because movie stars gave me such joy as a kid, I give back by making sure I create the best possible images of them when we work together."
