毎年８月の初め、鎌倉の鶴岡八幡宮で「ぼんぼり祭り」があります。
鎌倉に住む絵描き、作家、詩人、漫画家、書家など、たくさんの人が、書や絵を書いて参加します。
こうして出来たぼんぼりは八幡様の長い参道に並べられ、夕方になると一つ一つにローソクの火が灯され、とっても幻想的！
海から涼しい風が吹き、古都、鎌倉の夏の夜は多くの人で賑わいました。
今年、私は、お月様に向かってジャンプする少女の魔女を描きました。

Bonbori festival is held annually in the beginning of August at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine in Kamakura city.
So many artists, writers, poets, cartoonists, calligraphers draw pictures or calligraphies to offer to this festival.
Each artwork is mounted to lamps and they are lined up along the long approach to the shrine.
Early in the evening, every candles of lamp is lit, and it’s very mystical.
Nice breeze come from the sea, and the summer night at ancient city of Kamakura was crowded with many people.
This year, I drew a young witch who is jumping to the moon.
