It was something that constantly pushed me to want to be better & do better. But in 2014 it caught up with me .. the mindset I had of “am I better than this girl or that one” & comparing myself against others pushed me to believe that I had “failed”, that I hadn’t stacked up where I wanted to. - That was a real turning point for me. That devastating “failure” turned out to be my launchpad. It forced me to dig deep, to truly ask myself what I wanted to do & how hard I was willing to work for it. I constantly questioned whether I was giving MY best effort.
