Nearly 6 months in I can tell you it’s been a rollercoaster ride 😅 It seems like there’s a pretence before you have a baby that it’s easy, all natural & wonderful and & yes it is but it also takes major perseverance & you need lots of support from your partner/family/friends. Something I knew I always wanted to do was pump this has really helped take the pressure off me 24/7. Ryan can feed Roman from a bottle when I express milk for him for one feed a day. It’s helped him with bonding and me have a little more freedom knowing I have spare milk in the fridge for Ryan to do a feed if I pop out. But to do this, the baby needs to use the same tongue movement that’s required to take milk at the breast as the bottle. For this reason, we use @mambaby_uk They have flat, soft nipple like teats and a valve at the bottom which reduces the amount of air in the bottle, reducing the risk of colic.
