I love it because you can get all of these ethereal effects but in camera. I’m not a big fan of adding anything in post, I prefer to get everything in camera. But because I'm changing my projected backdrops and rotating my lights, I can never get the same image twice in a row. The convenience of digital is amazing but I am a perfectionist, so I want every single frame to look completely different and that's possible through my process. Another benefit of having my strobes rotate is that the prisms also change. When a different light fires every frame that forces the prisms to look different in every frame.
