Peek-a-boo moment with spotted hyena pup. Hyenas are incredible creatures that get a bad rap, associated with a lot of disreputable lore, but in actuality play a very important role in a healthy African ecosystem. There are 4 species in total, some are heavy scavengers but the spotted, seen here, kill over 90% of there meals.
