We’ve been programmed to call it ‘hard work’ when we are drained, unmotivated and overworked to our very core. Whereas years ago I would have applauded this ‘grit and grind’ I’ve come to realize that the ‘grind’ means nothing if you aren’t enjoying yourself along the way. . I’ve tarnished relationships, friendships and family because I was ‘too busy working’. I would constantly tell myself I wasn’t doing enough and compare myself to others which triggered an onset of anxiety. . I LOVE to build, create and innovate and it gives me life when I do. I’ve learned that there are many things that come easy for me that don’t for others and this is life’s little green light telling me to ‘keep going’. There are other things I have struggled with all my life like organization and sitting still to do one thing at a time 🤷🏻‍♀️ lol. We all have different gifts and It’s part of what makes us unique . If I could go back and tell my younger-self anything it would be to STOP TRYING TO DO IT ALL! Instead of trying to do EVERYTHING, I’ve focused on my strengths and found others who’s strengths are my weaknesses and built a team to pick up where I fall short. Only then did my business TRULY start to flourish and my anxiety dissipate. . Life is meant to be lived and loved and your emotions are triggers that tell you what does and doesn’t feel good. When we insist on doing things that aren’t right for us, it takes our energy away and gives us no success. I’m not saying everything in life comes easy but if you’re asking yourself what you’re passionate about - follow what flows ✨. Often times life puts up blockages to force us to go or try another way.
