“I like to be with children, to show something new to them. I can even take them for a walk sometimes. And during the walk, I try to tell them something useful and educational. Maybe they remember it and will use it in their adult life.”
Iryna Laposhyna is a social worker in Ukraine supporting nine families. Despite #COVI19, she makes the trek to provide the psychological help and in-kind assistance that’s more important than ever for countless families under the strain of the pandemic.
