My own experience as a student at NYU was valuable for many reasons, but when I look back, it was really the lifelong collaborators that I treasure the most. These last couple of years getting to return to NYU as a teacher, my hope each time has been to create an environment for these exceptional students to find their own lifelong collaborators. Collaborators are essential to the creative process — they keep you from facing the blank page alone, which can be everything! ⁣ ⁣ This is why I am overjoyed to see Lab alum continuing to work together after graduation. This week’s #MuseMonday with @ninemusesentertainment + Nia Farrell features Bianca Rogoff and Rachel Lipkin, two fantastic artists who never shy away from exploring new hyphenates. They’re both capable and brilliant women who consistently push themselves, each other, and others to go outside their comfort zone. ⁣ ⁣ Their episode of Muse Monday, “Being Behind Means You’re Actually Ahead” talks about what it means to find a hyphenate “later” in life and how that can actually work to your advantage! To watch, check out the @ninemusesentertainment IGTV ✨ (I love that these two use the words “later” at the age of 23 😂 As someone nearing 40, this makes me chuckle, but I appreciate the sentiment and their advice for recent grads is super helpful). ⁣ ⁣ Now who are these incredible people? ⁣ ⁣ Bianca (@bianca.rogoff) is an actor, singer, producer, and writer who graduated from NYU Tisch where she studied many different mediums around the world. She is one of the founding members of an artist collective called Under The Covers, which made its public debut at Lincoln Center in April 2019! ⁣ ⁣ Rachel’s (@raxhellipkin) creative focus within her love of cinema and television is through comedy screenwriting, producing and performance. During her time at NYU, she dipped her toes in various journalism, production and digital media internships in order to to redefine and expand upon her interdisciplinary passions.⁣ ⁣ Make sure to check our their conversation on the #NineMuses IGTV!」8月25日 5時59分 - brycedhoward
