It’s not often that a true relic, a masterful work of art of olde and new, from the mystical woodland surrounded seas of another world, find its way to one’s doorstep. And yet here it is, the Moments Journal, one of a kind and stunningly gorgeous, ethereal and pure magic with its vintage leather, lace and brocade, its tea stained pages and hidden landscape fold outs, beautifully bound and dreamed into existence by the hands of @bibliographica. The beauty and soulfulness of this artifact very much mirrors that of its creator with whom I feel very fortunate to have met within this space. I love how @bibliographica journals are so distinctively unique unlike any I’ve seen. The best handmade treasures are the ones where you can clearly see the fingerprint of its maker, when it exudes its own kind of energy, one of peaceful spaces, possibility, faerie tales and folklore. This is what the Moments Journal harkens for me and I couldn’t help but share it with you all here. I do indeed have quite a stack of handbound books, and they all, somehow, someway, get filled. We make time for what we value. With each passing year, I value more real time, less screened, more analogue meanderings, fewer digital ones, and taking things a bit more slowly in an ever fast and faster paced world. Time is precious and so are our moments. Here’s to savoring and relishing in the ones we’re gifted each new day.
