We are here with fin-tastic news and some bass-ic guidance on traveling with seafood. Just don't be shelfish to assume that everyone on the flight will appreciate your seafood snack!

If you're taking this oppor-tuna-ty to bring cooked seafood on your trip, as long as the seafood isn’t in liquid, you will have no issue bringing it in your carry-on. If there is liquid packaged with the food, including canned seafood, it will have to go in your checked bag. Which might have fellow travelers saying, "Thank cod!"

Is live seafood a gill-ty pleasure you want to bring home? You're in luck! Live seafood is permitted in both carry-on and checked bags. Ideally placing your seafood in a separate, clear, container and removing it from the rest of your items for the screening process is preferred.
