Ecuador’s southern coast is home to endless stretches of empty beach breaks, and we were lucky enough on our trip to score some swell. A surfer’s dream, most beaches were nearly deserted, save for a handful of colorful fishing boats dotting the sand, or a few pelicans passing overhead. Sun-kissed and salty, Pacha spent a few blissful days surfing as much as humanly possible, and consuming plantain in every form between sessions.
