Right now @ercan_ram and I were supposed to be sipping cocktails and sunning our skin in Crete- but with countries going on and off the quarantine lists all the time we didn’t want to risk it- (I have some exciting jobs coming up and having to quarantine simply wouldn’t do!! 😂) So we opted for a week in the lakes and I’m not going to lie initially we were disappointed (princess ercan defos has a pet lip on for awhile when he found out he wouldn’t be topping up his tan 😂🙄) But now we’re here we are having a ball! Don’t get me wrong it’s not our usual holiday but it’s so lovely to actually be active for a change! Normally when we go away on holiday we barely move for a week, we stuff our face and drink wayyyyyy too much 😂 Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun at the time but we come back feeling bloated and sluggish and feeling like we actually need a break to get over it 😂😂😂!! But this trip couldn’t be more different- nice early starts, fresh air, lovely hearty meals, exercise and great company... This may just be me getting older but we’ve actually loved our alternative staycation and I know I’m going to love going home and still being able to fit in my jeans a lot too 😂😍 This year has been about rolling with the punches, adapting and appreciating what is actually important. Being with the people who matter to me, staying healthy and living a balanced lifestyle filled with things I love come pretty high on that list. I’m grateful to my @ww.uk plan for allowing me to stay focused and healthy while still enjoying the things I love!!
