Like us, these countries were hit hard by Covid, but also like our kids, children all over the world are starting back to school even if it looks a little different this year. I think we’ve all seen through this, just how important school is for our children, they need it, we need it! Sometimes you don’t realize how important something is until it’s taken away. There are millions of kids around the world that don’t get to go to school, not because 2020 is crazy, or a global pandemic, but because of poverty. Simply because their parents can’t afford the uniform and books required to go, and many sadly can’t go because they have to work instead to help their family survive. So that’s what this Family Empowerment Day is all about, giving a child the opportunity to go to school!!
