Photos by @carltonward / On assignment for @insidenatgeo and @pathofthepanther making a Last Wild Places film about the Florida Wildlife Corridor. While working on Miccosukee lands, we based out of the Clyde Butcher Gallery within Big Cypress National Preserve. The flooded forest behind the gallery, past the skunk ape crossing sign (last photo), made for a great team activity — see whether @torilinder and @morth_photo could push @ricksmith_media in a canoe for stabilized 8K video gliding through the swamp without capsizing.
