The lake, which is a hamlet of Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, is one of the most popular places to visit in all of Alberta. Glacier lakes like this one don’t begin to thaw until early June, so if you are planning to visit, just know that this area can still be quite cold, with much snow.
