This glass plate negative from the Powerhouse collection depicts Pearl Bay (Mosman) in the early 20th century. Powerhouse Creative Industries Resident @wessel_mania was inspired by this image to create a new sound work ‘Iridescence’ that includes field recordings of the land and water at Pearl Bay. He also collaborated with @adriancookphotography to recreate a contemporary image of Pearl Bay using the historical techniques from that time.
