Seen through the lens of 2020, it turns out that the final design of this California home, designed by George Bevan of @bevan_associates, is perfect in the era of social distancing. Instead of thinking of the home as staking its claim on the property, he envisioned it as a series of separate buildings, connected by a snaking walkway, that worked around the natural bounty. In the pool house, the custom cabinetry is by Johannes Van Moorick in a wood by @oakwoodveneer, the counters are by @lapitec_official, and the fittings are by @dornbracht_official.
