I was driving down the road after a long walk in nature and was suddenly inspired to stop and look at this beautiful field of cows. As soon as I approached the fence he ran up to me and started nuzzling me. The other cows had no interest what so ever. He laid his head on the stone wall and let me scratch his big goofy head, and tries to lick me uncontrollably. I’m not sure why or how, but there is some sort of spiritual connection between us, we have an indescribable instant love for each other. I can’t help but think that he might have the soul of Topsy (my dog and soulmate that passed a year and a half ago). His eyes, the way he looks at me and communicates with me is so similar to her. It’s a magical experience. I bring him an apple everyday and when he sees me coming he runs over to the fence to greet me. We spend about 30 minutes together everyday, and it’s the highlight of my day. When I walk away to leave, he rests his head on the stone wall and watches me walk until I’m out of sight, each time i look back, his little head is there watching me until I’m completely out of sight.
