Here’s a first glimpse of what @solidoroma is showing at E-O Matteo and Regina are producing their collection in a small family workshop in Rome. Few words from Matteo : Before I met JP , I loved his design of a broad blue wool cape I was charmed by the combination of its classic shape and the sharp design coudl not resist to the idea of wearing it - though the time had not come yet one year ago last September , I was exhibiting SOLIDO for the Brussel Design September at the workshop of Terres de Rêves by Anita Le Grelle JP came to visit and I was happy to show him the creations by Reggina and myself that I talked to him over coffee a few days earlier what we do at SOLIDO is a permanent collection of solid colour knitwear from natural materials which is handmade in Italy with Reggina we design an improved basic fashion with a simply liquid gender- and time-less style which fits a versatile outfit we are inspired from nature and theatre , cinema and ballet , and wish that our fashion is a game of layers and textures in the stage of everyday when , in October , JP and his stylish team launched E-O , I was delighted to access such a brilliant selection of fashion and design you have the impression that JP draws a line between different artisans , places , tastes and digests it in the shop for the pleasure of its customers with Reggina , we visited again E-O in December and it was the nicest surprise when JP suggested that SOLIDO could be a guest we both feel very close to the E-O manifesto : SOLIDO itself is made of popular tradition , authenticity , creativity Reggina and I support the idea and the actions around the evolution around the idea of fashion」10月4日 18時45分
