Artists, actors, models, musicians, and even authors were photographed in the club at a time when magazines and TV were cultivating public interest in stars of all kinds. And the stars didn't just party at Studio 54, they also took it as their stage. With performances by Studio regulars like Grace Jones and Liza Minelli, as well as a rotation of top-level DJs, the club was at the forefront of '70s culture and music.
