ブルックリン美術館さんのインスタグラム写真 - (ブルックリン美術館Instagram)「After living in Manhattan for nine years, JR decided to devote his third major mural project to the city he had come to call home, creating "The Chronicles of New York City." The French artist sees his “Chronicles” series as a way of getting to know a place through the people that live there. He says, “It’s the most amazing excuse to be able to go anywhere and tap on people’s shoulders and say ‘who are you?'” Each of the 1,128 New Yorkers photographed was also asked to contribute a short audio recording.
