Growing up in Miami, my siblings and I would imagine worlds and act out scenes with radio music as the score. When I was 11-years-old, my dad took us to see Toy Story and I was struck with the awe & magic that is animation. That passion propelled me to pursue a degree in computer animation, where I set my dreams to work alongside the great animators at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Nowadays, I love spending my free time making lists of projects I can work on at home. My home fixes list is expanding by the day! And while working from home, I've enjoyed more time with my family. I enjoy salsa dancing, and of course, my wife’s Colombian food! I struggled with cultural assimilation growing up. So, when I think of my Hispanic/Latinx heritage, it means accepting and celebrating the things that make our communities stronger and more unique. I’ve always mentioned this to those that have approached me for advice: ‘Take every setback, no matter how painful, as a learning opportunity. If you're following your bliss, the obstacles will make you stronger.’ I am grateful and honored to be part of this community and the Disney familia.” - Henry Guillermo Sanchez, Sr. Character Animator」10月16日 6時30分 - disneyanimation
