This jewellery and its organic and imperfect shapes were created through the beautiful alchemy of waste and poetry.

Using the raw materials from @Hyundai.lifestyle cars, @alighieri_jewellery created this jewellery collection to reimagine waste; pendants with fragments of glass from the windscreen headlights, set as precious stones; car seat foam was coated with silver and gold plated to look like molten, organic rock; the seatbelts were embellished with clusters of pearls to create powerful chokers, and hairpieces.

Nothing is more luxurious to me than products that are made with nature at the heart of every piece. Each with its own journey that will travel with you on your own adventures.

20% of discarded materials from the car manufacturing industry still end up in landfill each year.
