It was an opportunity that comes only once every 7 years, when the European Union reviews its billion-Euro farm subsidies budget. The EU failed to #VoteThisCAPDown and as @gretathunberg just Tweeted “basically made their insufficient so-called climate and environmental targets impossible to reach.” We want food to be good for our bodies and good for the planet. And we want to know that the farmer who produced the food is getting a fair, living wage. We must leverage the power of money to solve the crimate crisis, by making sure that this financial aid is provided to farmers that are working to save the planet.
