Affectionately referred to as “Degoichi,” the Class D51 is the representative steam locomotive of Japan.

It’s powerful visage, which tirelessly traversed the turbulence of the Showa Period, still remains to this day. 

Even now, it looks ready to take off under a sky full of stars.
