Two weeks ago, her colleague Foreign Minister @marise.payne also paid a visit. Singapore and Australia enjoy close and long-standing bilateral defence relations and military cooperation. The SAF also marks the 30th anniversary of their training in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area this year. In March we signed a treaty-level agreement on the joint development of training areas and advanced training facilities in Queensland, and since then have made steady progress. Minister Reynolds and I had a good discussion on the regional and international security challenges, and how we can address them together.
