Katherine Ralls, Janine Brown, Devra Kleiman and JoGayle Howard who helped develop the emerging field of conservation biology from the 1970s-present. At 2pm, “Overcoming Gender-based Obstacles in Conservation Science” with Drs. Nucharin Songsasen, Mel Songer and Kate Christen takes on challenges and successes related to gender and ethnicity in conservation natural and social sciences.
