The Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), a special police division created to deal with crimes associated with robbery, motor vehicle theft, kidnapping, and firearms, have taken advantage of their position and have been accused of the very crimes they were created to deter. ⁣ ⁣ The people of Nigeria have called for this special police division to be disbanded, if you have seen #EndSars posted anywhere this is what it refers to. ⁣ ⁣ Human rights are being violated, and the Nigerian government seems slow to act on the behalf of its very people who are suffering. ⁣ ⁣ When I thought about the best way I could help, I came to the conclusion that the only valid contribution I could make, is to get the message to you all and encourage you to research what is going on, and share what you find. ⁣ ⁣ As unfortunate as it is, sometimes the only way to get foreign governments do right by their people, is for non-nationals to stand up and say ‘We see you too!’ ⁣ Its starts with the people (us), then each respective government of our resident countries will take notice and do what they can to encourage a resolution.⁣ ⁣ So continue to share. #EndSars」10月21日 11時02分
