I saw a comment the other day below a post of a picture of an animal that was taken in a captive environment, which stated that the picture wasn’t great because it was of a captive animal. I was perplexed. I’ve always believed that if a photograph speaks to you it doesn’t really matter where it was taken. Isn’t beauty in the eye of the beholder? In my humble opinion if a photo makes you pause and get lost in a special moment, then that’s a great picture and to the observer it’s got no real relevance as to how long or difficult it was to get.
