This @theofficialpandora bracelet reminds me of that. When I was 17, I moved to London after growing up on my little Island of Bali. I wanted something different, but little did I know how hard it would be to leave my family, my home, my friends and the lifestyle. When I arrived in the city, my acne started. I had originally moved to pursue modelling, so the fact that my skin started acting up it made things a little complicated and hard. The more it stressed me out, the worse it got. Little did I know the strength that bad skin would give me! Two and a half years later, worse skin than ever, I chose to move back to Bali to be with my family. Eventually after almost two years, my skin finally got better. I am so glad I’ve had these years to be home and enjoy Bali as things are changing very fast there. Being uncomfortable and having this skin issue helped me discover myself, both in and outside of my career, and forced me to learn more valuable life lessons. I wouldn’t have things any other way, as I now accept and love myself the way I am.
