Despite being traumatized from diving in a Cenote years ago, I planned a diving weekend in Cozumel because they have WAY better reefs than the ones near mainland, and some amazing wild life right now, like eagle rays and massive turtles! . I also wanted to practice diving again to prepare for the most intense dive of my life...with apex predators. 😬 . If you're a nervous diver, need practice (or certification), or want a really professional dive company, I'd highly recommend going with @ScubaTonyCozumel ! You can simply tell them your concerns and they'll be sure to take you to shallow dives, and help you come up early if you need to! . ALLSSOOO just gunna throw it out there that Cozumel is IDEAL to go to right now before the cruise ships come back! There weren't many tourists on the island, and it also felt extremely safe, unlike how it is in Playa 😒 .
