Des abattages d’arbre vont être réalisés jusqu’à la fin de la Révolution. - 👑 En 1810, les architectes Percier et Fontaine exploitent cet élargissement pour donner un cadre grandiose au cortège du mariage de l’empereur Napoléon et de Marie-Louise. - 🔥 En 1871, le Palais des Tuileries est incendié pendant la Commune. Laissé en ruine pendant plus de 10 ans, il est finalement rasé en 1883.
