This scene shows jetliners over a wilderness area between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. for a project on vanishing natural sounds in our wild places. The image was made from multiple photos, layered over each other, to illustrate a three-hour period of jet traffic, each jet getting a 30-second exposure.
