トミー・コールドウェルさんのインスタグラム写真 - (トミー・コールドウェルInstagram)「I’m going to continue the Route-Finding series with a little throwback because I view reflection as a key to any progression. Many of you may have heard the stories of my unusual early childhood. My dad was so determined to build grit in his son that he took me on crazy adventures all over the world. While this approach successfully instilled a love of wild experiences in nature, it did little to build the climbing strength that has been the source of so many of my climbing successes. Instead, this strength was developed through sport climbing.⠀ ⠀ Tonight I am going to share an online slideshow taking people through the period of my life that I like to think of as my 10,000 hours. It’s the period when I thought about nothing except becoming the strongest climber I could be. I’ll tell stories about trips through the Western United States and Europe with my main mentors, Chris Sharma, Christian Griffith, Nick Sagar, and more. I’ve dug through the archives and found troves of photos, many of them unseen or forgotten. These will be mostly untold stories about experiences that, in retrospect, were some of the most formative adventures of my life. For those of you looking to improve your climbing, this will reveal the kind of life I was living during the fastest period of strength progression in my life.⠀ ⠀ Follow the link in bio to tune into the event this evening at 5PM PST. #routefinding⠀@jimthornburg @chris_sharma ⠀ Photo: Jim Thornburg」12月17日 5時06分 - tommycaldwell
