When American movie star William Boyd began building a hacienda-style home on almost 150 acres of land in the Santa Monica Mountains, he envisioned his house as a place where he could detox from his Hollywood life. Now, almost a century later, the home’s newest inhabitants are continuing the actor’s vision for the site. The homeowners, Alex and Sue Glasscock, are the founders and owners of the Ranch, a wellness and fitness retreat touting rigorous regimes and a celebrity clientele. The Glasscocks tapped interior designer and close friend @stevengambrel to transform the home, which Gambrel describes as being “so beautiful before [renovations].” They love entertaining, so Gambrel brought in landscape designer @scott_shrader to revamp the outdoor spaces, adding vintage stone garden furniture and wicker seating to facilitate social gatherings. Here, @bielecky_brothers wicker chairs have cushions in a @janusetcie fabric, and the vintage French stone table and pots are from @innergardens.
