ヴィッキー・パティソンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ヴィッキー・パティソンInstagram)「Well today @ercan_ram and I were meant to be jetting off to Dubai and the Maldives for a 3 week holiday of a lifetime... but instead I’m lying in bed, still in my Christmas pjs (which I fear are all but fused to my body at this point), watching Midsummer Murders and eating the last of the quality street... 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s the third time it’s had to be moved/postponed and we’ve decided to just bite the bullet and cancel it this time. Until things are a little bit clearer, the world is a little bit calmer and we all know where we stand a bit better. So today I feel sad. And before anyone jumps down my neck about this sentiment: I truly understand the gravity of what is happening in the world- that there is far more important things happening than me missing a holiday, that there are horrible and scary things going on all over and that me whinging about not being on my fancy holiday is pretty vapid and self absorbed. But, that doesn’t stop me being a sad face. Over the last 12 months we’ve all had to sacrifice so much, some more than others, but our losses, our grief and our pain... is just that: OURS!! It’s subjective and you have no right to tell anyone how they feel about something or how it affects them. The fact is if you weren’t sad about a cancelled holiday, a postponed wedding, a missed trip to see your family, your called off babies first birthday party, your best mates hen do, a romantic getaway... Then you aren’t human or you are and you’re just a much better person than me 😂 So today I invite you all to have a good long whinge in my comments- about your cancelled holidays, missed afternoons drinking in beer gardens or days exploring new cities, lost nights out or postponed family occasions! Whatever you want to moan about.. Because we’re all human after all, and we’re allowed to be sad, and we’re allowed to mourn our old freedom... Just as long as we don’t wallow for too long and get back to being positive pigeons again 😂😍 There’s no judgement here gang... HAVE AT IT 😂😍🥰」1月10日 22時16分
