When we moved into our home 10 years ago we wanted our next house to be our own. But being forced out of your house is never a chill way to start the road to home ownership especially when the housing market is going nuts. The amount of sleepless nights, tears, panick attacks, therapy sessions and endless phonecalls with family&friends spent on this traumatic situation while also managing life in a pandemic were insufferable at times. I can't count how many houses we've seen, how many fights we had (lol) and how many bumps on the road we encountered to get to this point but mannnnn we made it at last. Yet it feels so sad to leave our home behind after 10 years. Nori grew up here. The balcony is where all my photography started. I battled my darkest depression times here. There are so many memories we're leaving behind and there won't be anything left to go back to once the block is gone to dust but at the same time I can't wait to make new memories and make this house into our home. Since we're still on a deadline and our new home still needs a lot of work done all tips for NL based (preferably rdam) contractors are welcome and also @ your fave furniture companies in the comments cause ya girl wants a whole new vibe ✨」1月13日 3時34分 - meryemsrwina
