It turns out 50mph winds and #kiteSkiing are more or less an oil and water kinda thing. This clips is of @mikelibecki throwing down and trying his luck on day 1 of our 65 mile ski tour in interior #antarctica - it’s entertaining at the very least. We were on recon in the #WalthatMountains in search of the perfect route to climb, which we eventually found and had an ass kicking adventure on. I shot this in November of 2012 on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック @natgeotv with @Cory Richards @freddiewilkinson and @mikelibecki / @sadiequarrier @kengeiger
