I’m an earth sign so I love being connected to Earth in all its elements, especially water! Which explains my impulsive need to run outside when it rains or snows 🤣 This pic was taken moments after I dove off my canoe into the middle of a massive lake. Words can never describe how it felt. It was my first time! Of course I’ve swam in lakes before. I’ve even dove into oceans & pools. But diving into a lake ... WOW! A lakes water density is so different than that of the ocean. There’s no buoyancy. Your body literally sinks! I felt the pull getting deeper & deeper. I legit had tell myself to kick and swim up. For a second I was scared, but then I shifted that fear to being present & aware. Suddenly, it felt invigorating. As I got closer to top I felt a sense of calming. As I took my first breath of fresh air, I felt cleansed. I felt Earth all around me.
