Is that face not the cutest? Just look at that grin! As happy as a 🐷 in 💩. Hyena really don’t deserve the negative press they always seem to attract. When you take the time to get to know these incredible predators you’ll soon realise that they’re are up there with some of the smartest animals on the planet, including chimps. Due to their incredibly intricate social hierarchies, they really do need to be around others of their own kind and don’t make good pets. My acceptance into this clan of 7 hyenas, has been a long, long journey and has been a life long commitment. Looking after animals both wild and domestic is a real responsibility and shouldn’t be entered into on a whim. Unfortunately all too often this is the case.
