Initially designed as a personal vacation home by the late Argentine architect Mario Connio, this beachfront property in Punta Piedras, Uruguay was sold more than two decades ago. The current owners use it as a retreat from their home base in San Francisco, and the main bathroom (pictured here), which overlooks the Atlantic ocean, is just one example of its soothing design.
