When architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens (@silviorechlesleycarstens) visited a home for sale just two doors down from their own, they were surprised to discover a sweeping panorama overlooking the city below. Expansive vistas aren't easy to come by in Johannesburg, so they jumped on the opportunity to own that piece of paradise. Here, the round daybed, chairs (left), and cocktail table are all custom, the chaises are by @paola_lenti_official, and the Panton chairs are from @vitra with the galvanized steel spiral staircase leads to the upper terrace.
