The story of the water behind MUJI Skincare.

Located in the Iwate prefecture of Japan, Mt. Omine was once home to a now-abandoned iron ore mine. The mountain now serves as a source of water in which melted snow and natural rainfall is filtered slowly over decades, dripping quietly and slowly between the layers of bedrock. The resulting water is incredibly soft, with a low mineral content and a similar pH balance to our tears, ensuring absorption into the skin.
