Rudy got 🅰️➕for his health check up today yay !

It’s hard to imagine from back in the dayz, but he’s been much slowing down recently and turned into absolute ZEN dog. He lost hearing and vision, but makes remarkable adjustment and acts like Yoda. Staring into space all the time. He seems to be enlightened.

I’m so grateful that Toddy @endlessbummerny took these photos and funny video on our way to the vet today. Everyday life pictures like these are the most precious ones. I know I’ll keep them in my heart for many many years.

I was planning to go back to Kyoto with him for a while this spring, but things have changed. I hope we can go back together in fall.

Stay healthy and happy and funny and the best of the best, my Rudeboy. Be good while mama needs to go to Boston from tomorrow, hey, that’s your city 🐾

今日はるーちんの定期健康診断へ。昔はあんなに激しいヤンチャっ子だったのが、最近はヨーダみたいにずっとチルしてムニャムニャしてる。いろいろゆっくりになったし、耳も聞こえてないし、目も見えてない。よく空(くう)を見つめてる。悟り開いてるみたい。

るーちんポスター貼ってくれてる獣医さんではるーちんいつも人気者。歳はとってきたけど健康ハナマル💮💯もらったよ。わーい、さすが師匠。やるな。

写真とビデオは今朝Toddy が撮ってくれた。こういう何気ない日常の記録がすごく嬉しい宝物。きっとずっと心の支えになる。

春になったら思い切ってるーちん連れてしばらく京都に帰ろうと思ってたんだけど予定変更。秋には一緒に帰れますように。るーちん、だから毎日元気で楽しくいようね、いつもありがとうね、るーちん最高るーちん大好き。

明日から三日間君の街ボストン。でもお留守番だよ。よろしくね。
