Relationships edition 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ So before the Valentine’s Day rush hits & our feeds are inundated with glamorous pictures of impossibly loved up couples sharing tender moments & captions with professions of undying love & gratitude.. Let’s get real for a second. Firstly, I will definitely be one of the people doing the above- just to warn you now- you aren’t new to my Instagram- you know what to expect.. I’m a cringe bag.. so let’s get that clear 😂 However I think it’s important to recognise our current reality too. @ercan_ram I love you, I’m so lucky to have you. You are kind, supportive, not afraid to help around the house, incredibly easy on the eye & just an all round lovely man- I’m super grateful for our relationship- you handsome little bastard 😂😍 BUT, Every day isn’t like this first picture, our relationship isn’t perfect, no ones is. Although I would love to tell you guys that we sit around all day looking immaculate & perfectly styled, staring into each other’s eyes & finishing each other’s sentences while little birdies do our washing & mice get us ready it just isn’t the case 😂 Most days look far more like this second picture, in our pjs or our old gym gear just trying to get through this super unnatural circumstance we’ve all found ourselves in. We squabble occasionally, we can disagree, we need our own space at times & some times I want to Chuck you off the balcony and live a life of gin soaked solitude 🍸 In short we’re normal, we have our ups & downs & that’s OK. This year has either forced us apart or trapped us under each other’s feet- neither of which is natural or comfortable for a prolonged period of time. So I just wanted to let all you guys know, before the Valentine’s loved up insta onslaught begins- that it’s ok if every day of your relationship is not a storyline to a romantic comedy, if every day isn’t the best day of your life & every day you aren’t playing kiss chase around your kitchen... Because that stuff is best left to Disney. As long as you’re doing your best, respect each other, love each other & can laugh together.. That’s all we can hope for 💜 I’d rather have flawed than fake any day.. 💙」2月9日 22時03分
