That’s probably why so many foreigners have come to live in Sayulita! The vibe is chill and fun, and so far it seems a lot safer than the other parts of Mexico I’ve lived in! Plus, it’s the most pet-friendly city I’ve lived in, and it’s extremely health-conscious! Well, minus the tacos and margaritas 😬 Sayulita is also very small though, so I don’t want to over-recommend coming here to live, however when the time is right, definitely put it on your list of places to visit in Mexico! (Ahem, save this post so you remember!) This area is on the west coast along the Pacific Ocean, so the only downside (for me at least) is the water is colder and not so clear.
