Thank you!!!! 🐨🙏 CALL TO ACTION 🐨🐨🐨 Today, we announce the launch of our Wildlife Week Campaign. Our ambitious goal is to raise 👉 $215,000 from today through to 3/3 for #WorldWildLifeWeek This is the story of Donnie, an orphaned koala rescued by a dedicated wildlife carer named Vickii Lett and brought in to Byron bay Wildlife Hospital for treatment and care. Orphaned wildlife like Donnie are in crisis every day. Natural disasters, pollution, disease, traffic, overgrazing by domestic stock, over-development and habitat loss are having devastating impacts on native animals. It's an onslaught of threats to which they have almost no defence, and they need our help urgently. In 2020, we inspired the generosity of hundreds of donors to construct Australia’s Largest Mobile Wildlife Hospital. Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital is up and running, providing full-time veterinary services for wildlife free of charge. We are asking for donations to meet the logistic and on-ground costs of getting our Mobile Hospital to wildlife in crisis, anywhere in Australia, and the costs of providing expert, full-time veterinary care for injured, traumatised or diseased native animals. We must give wildlife like Donnie a fighting chance to survive - whether that’s from sickness or injury.
