I have been dreading this show coming out for a year- it was physically the hardest thing I’ve ever tried to do & also the most emotionally difficult position I’ve ever put myself in- & I’m sure you could see the instant regret on my face from the second I met the DS 😂 I throw myself into everything I do- I give a 110% & not being able to finish the course has been a huge source of shame & embarrassment to me- I’ve really beaten myself up over it- but I just wanted to say thankyou. Your kind messages & beautiful support has been so unexpected that I just had to express my gratitude- you’re all amazing & I love you. Honestly guys, I think I underestimated the huge task of this particular experience & I’m annoyed that out of all the years I have wanted to do it- the year that they wanted me was the year I’d been sitting at home with me finger up me arse, watching tiger king, eating banana bread & doing online quizzes to find out which ‘friends’ cast member I would be 😂 But I suppose that’s life and quite frankly I’m not sure I’d ever be SAS material regardless of how much I trained.. I am a big, squishy girl pants & I think I’m ok with that 😂 I just wanted to say a last thankyou to all the crew and guys at @channel4- as well as all the DS- @antmiddleton @jason_carl_fox @stazthrudark @billingham22b & my fave @melvyndownes- You’re all impressive beyond words ❤️ Finally, to all my INCREDIBLE recruits- you’re awesome, you’re brave, I love you endlessly! Special mentions to my @shanazereade who was strapping up my ankles from day 1, @jakequickenden14 who supported me and made me laugh throughout and to @jamescracknell with who I fell more than a little bit in love with due to the kindness he showed me throughout the experience. I wouldn’t have got passed day one without you James. You’re a true gent.
